The service aims for delivery within two hours or less from the time of order placement from a local Parts in Town location.
OEM foodservice, residential appliance and HVAC equipment repair parts distributor Parts Town has provided an update on the expansion of its same-day delivery service, stating that the company now offers it from over 125 Parts in Town locations across the United States.
A Nov. 30 news release from the Addison, Illinois-based company said that its same-day delivery service aims for delivery within two hours or less from the time of order placement. To receive that service, customers shopping partstown.com will now find a “Same Day Delivery” shipping option available for eligible items within a 20-mile radius of local service companies that are part of the Parts in Town network.
Upon order placement, customers can track their deliveries in real-time, which Parts Town notes ensures complete visibility and control over the process. Parts Town offers its same-day shipping daily until 9 pm ET.
“We are excited to bring Same Day Delivery to our customers nationwide,” said Emanuela Delgado, Vice President of Growth and Innovation at Parts Town. “With Same Day Delivery, we’re not just providing parts, we’re delivering solutions for the most urgent of needs. This program, in partnership with so many of the local service companies in our industry, plus our extensive inventory available for same day shipping, allows customers to access parts whenever they need them. Today, tomorrow, the next day – whatever they prefer.”
The news comes two weeks after Parts Town announced that the company plans to open a 420,000-square-foot, high-tech distribution center near Phoenix in late 2024, and that the company expects its 2023 total revenue to exceed $2.4 billion — up from $1.8 billion in 2022.
