Graybar expands its presence in southern Colorado with the addition of Colorado Springs-based electrical distributor Blazer Electric Supply.
Electrical, industrial, communications and data networking products distributor Graybar acquired Colorado Springs, CO-based Blazer Electric Supply.
Blazer Electric Supply is an electrical distributor that serves construction, commercial, institutional and industrial customers. The company was founded in 2009 and operates two locations in southern Colorado.
As a subsidiary of Graybar, the company will operate under the Blazer Electric Supply name. Trevor Blazer will serve as president, and the company’s employees will be retained.
“Blazer is a market leader in its territory, with comprehensive product lines, extensive capabilities and a reputation for outstanding customer service,” said Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathleen Mazzarella said in a Feb. 29 news release. “Blazer fits well with Graybar’s core values, our people-oriented culture and our long-term growth strategy.”
Graybar’s most recent deals were inked in July 2023 with electric distributor Shepherd Electric Supply, in April 2023 with automation, filtration, fluid handling, heating and process control product distributor Valin, and in December 2022 with electrical distributor CX Connexion. In 2023, Graybar also appointed a head of acquisitions and financial planning.
The company ranked as the No. 3 Electrical Distributor and No. 20 Industrial Distributor on MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors List.
