Building materials distributor Builders FirstSource acquired Sunrise Wood Designs.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX-based Sunrise Wood Designs is a custom cabinetry manufacturer and installer that operates from a single 168,000-square-foot facility. Sunrise was founded in 2007.
Builders FirstSource’s most recent previous acquisitions were of Wyoming Millwork (Milton, DE) completed on Aug. 28, Western Truss & Components (Flagstaff, AZ) and CRi SoCal (Orange County, CA) — both completed on July 2.
The company was No. 2 on MDM’s Top Distributor’s List for Building Materials/Construction.
