Fargo, ND-based electrical supplies distributor Border States expanded its Eau Claire, WI branch.

It increased the western Wisconsin branch to over 40,000-square-feet and included a 4.5-acre storage yard. According to Border states, this growth enables the company to reach new markets and enhance its service offerings for customers.

“This expansion provides our customers with a unique offering the covers the construction, industrial and utility markets,” Border States Account Manager Tyler Ihry said in an Oct. 1 news release. “Our vendor partnerships and national footprint will also allow us to grow with our customers and serve their unstoppable businesses.”

The company said the branch is positioned for ongoing growth in the coming years, which will lead to the creation of additional jobs in the Eau Claire market, as it operates as a 100% employee-owned company.

Border States was No. 6 on MDM’s 2024 Top Distributors List for Electrical, Data & Security.
