“Many thin film resistors fail to maintain stability under harsh conditions and over extended periods,” according to the company. “RNCE series offers excellent stability, reliability, and robustness while maintaining high voltage and power ratings.”
Overload voltages are 100, 200, 300 and 400V respectively.
Operation is up to 175°C and two temperature coefficients are available: ±25 or 50ppm/°C.
Five tolerances are offered for all four sizes: ±0.05, ±0.1, ±0.25, ±0.5 or ±1%.
The widest resistance range is for the 1206 size, which is 10Ω to 1.5MΩ – except in ±0.05% types where the range is 49.9Ω to 100kΩ.
Physically smaller resistors in the series are not available in such high resistances.
Sulphur resistance is to ASTM B 809.
