Relec Cincon CBM300S baseplate cooled PSU web

Made by Cinon and available through Relec, the supplies have closed-box construction and can accept power from 90 – 264Vac or 120 – 370Vdc.

Different version offer outputs at 12, 15, 24, 28, 36, 48 or 54V. These can be trimmed -5% to +5% with a single external resistor.

“Its slimline profile makes it an excellent fit where space or height is limited, from automation equipment and telecoms to test systems and industrial ITE,” said Relec.

Peak efficiency is between 92 and 94% depending on model, no-load power is below 500mW, and leakage is ≤0.75mA.

Operation is across -40 to +90°C and up to 5,000m altitude.

Fitted with the company’s K-B022 heatsink, derating starts in ambients of 40°C and no output is available over 80°C – although full power is available if the case can be kept below 90°C. Slightly less output power can be drawn at inputs below 110Vac.

Protections include over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit.

Approvals include IEC/UL/EN 62368-1 (3rd edition) and compliance is to EN 55032 Class B for EMC (without external components) and EN50155 for railway use.

Estimated MTBF is 240,000h.
