The new US LBM facility will focus on roofing and siding, the company said in its announcement.
Building materials distributor US LBM announced Nov. 17 the opening of a new location in the New York metropolitan area. The facility in Whippany, New Jersey, will focus roofing and siding, according to a news release. US LBM ranked No. 3 in MDM’s 2022 Top Building Materials/Construction Distributors List.
The new location will provide contractors, remodelers and homebuilders in the New Jersey suburbs of New York City access to US LBM’s roofing and siding brands, the release said. The facility will operate under US LBM’s Universal Supply division.
“The Whippany location, in combination with similar roofing and siding focused locations we’ve opened over the past two years in nearby Paterson and Newark in northern New Jersey, expands US LBM’s coverage in an important specialty category in a high-volume metropolitan market,” US LBM President and CEO L.T. Gibson said.
