MSC’s Shacklett Earns ISA’s Women’s Influence Award

On April 18, the Industrial Supply Association announced that Kim Shacklett, Senior Vice President of Sales & Customer Success at MSC Industrial Supply Co., was named the winner of the 2023 Women’s Influence Award.

This award honors “extraordinary” individuals from an ISA member company for their impact and commitment to advancing the development and influence of women in the industrial supply channel, ISA said in its announcement.

“Kim Shacklett is one of the best leaders I have come across in my entire career,” said MSC President and CEO Erik Gershwind. “While Kim is a respected and impactful leader for all MSC associates, she is a strong and positive role model to many women in our company and industry.”

Shacklett joined the industry more than three decades ago. She has been described as a strong role model, thoughtful mentor and “passionate advocate of women at MSC and throughout the industry,” according to ISA.

“Her impact thus far has been incredibly significant,” ISA said.”She has revolutionized the industry in countless ways, driven by her passion for the customer and innovative thinking. Kim is a strong role model, thoughtful mentor, and passionate advocate of women at MSC and throughout the industry. She sets an example for those around her to follow, motivating them to pursue their goals with determination and perseverance.”
