According to to Bloomberg the deal could be worth more than a billion Swiss francs – about $1.2 billion.

U-Blox reported its H1 results on August 6th recordingu-blox_LEXI-R52 a loss of  7.7 million francs compared to a 28 million franc loss in H 2024

H1 revenues were up 32% y-o-y at 123.4 million francs from 93.8 million francs in H1 2024.

All major business segments recorded double-digit growth, supported by the continued reduction of excess inventory at customers and broad-based demand recovery, particularly in the automotive and industrial sectors.

H1 cash EBIT  turned positive at  2.9 million francs, an improvement from -26.0 million francs in H1 2024.

‘This turnaround reflects the successful execution of cost reduction measures in 2024 and operational leverage from higher revenues’, says U-Blox.

In June 2025, u-blox completed the divestment of its Cellular business to Trasna,  allowing U-Blox to focus  on its core strengths in positioning technologies
