Rahway, NJ-based MRO, metalworking and other industrial supplies distributor A&M Industrial acquired The Mosher Company.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Chicopee, MA-based The Mosher Company is an industrial distributor and manufacturer of finishing compounds.
The operations of The Mosher Company will merge with A&M Industrial’s Middletown, CT location, while Mosher’s MOCO Buffing & Polishing Compounds will continue to be manufactured and distributed by A&M.
“This merger enhances our standing as the leading distributor of metalworking tools, abrasives, and accessories in New England,” A&M Industrial President David Young said in an Oct. 2 news release. “Both A&M and The Mosher Company have been serving industrial facilities for generations. It’s thrilling to uphold and continue that tradition of exceptional customer service and support.”
A&M said that customers in New England can anticipate the same level of technical sales support, enhanced by a wider product range and expanded services. New offerings include Vendor Managed Inventory, enabling customers in the region to improve inventory management, optimize costs and prevent stock-outs.
