On May 9, automation engineering company Applied Manufacturing Technologies named Craig Salvalaggio as President.

Salvalaggio has served as Lake Orion, Michigan-based AMT’s Chief Operating Officer since 2020, leading operations as the company supports manufacturers, robot companies, systems integrators, line builders and users of robotic automation worldwide.

He has more than 20 years of experience in automation, beginning as a robotics software engineer and working his way up through the ranks in various executive-level positions. 

Salvalaggio is involved in the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) on the Robotics Tech Sector Board of Directors and has also served on the RIA Membership Committee and as co-chair of the RIA Certified Robot Integrator Program Committee. 

“As we look to the future, I am committed to preserving the unique culture and values that have made our company so successful, while also exploring new opportunities for growth and innovation,” Salvalaggio said in a news release.
