Compressor distributor Pacific Air Compressors will expand Atlas Copco’s geographic footprint in the Portland area.
Sweden-based manufacturer and distributor of industrial equipment and tools Atlas Copco acquired Portland, OR-based compressor distributor Pacific Air Compressors.
The acquisition will expand Atlas Copco’s geographic footprint and add 15 employees, according to a March 4 news release.
“The acquisition will give us a stronger presence in the Portland area which has a very diverse manufacturing base,” said Vagner Rego, President of the Compressor Technique Service business division, of which Pacific Air will become a part of.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
Atlas Copco primarily provides air compressors and vacuums, and has a U.S. headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.
