The electrical distributor detailed a new operating model, new distribution centers and new leadership changes.
Electrical supplies distributor Border States announced a slew of major company updates on June 3 that include both its organizational and operational footprint.
The Fargo, ND-based company shared a new operating model that it said emphasizes a customer-centric, streamlined experience at its nationwide branches and aligns with the company’s commitment to support customers’ businesses.

Supply Network
Key to this strategy, the company said June 3, is the implementation of distribution centers that will enhance a network of over 130 branch locations. The company plans to add multiple DCs to its supply network over the next several years, with the first planned for early 2026. Border States added that its DCs will focus on optimizing total supply chain costs and providing customers with greater access to inventory, while working with branches to scale for optimization.
Leadership

As previously announced, company veteran Jason Seger took over as Border States President and CEO on April 1 following the retirement of former CEO DAvid White.
