The rapidly-expanding building products distributor now has more than 60 DCs across the U.S.
Cameron Ashley’s rapid expansion has reached the Nutmeg State, as the building products distributor has opened its first distribution center in Connecticut.
The facility is located at 50 Ives Place, Unit B, New Haven, CT 06511 and can be reached at 475-766-8700.
The company’s newest DC is in New Haven, CT, which stocks drywall, insulation, roofing and related accessories. It boosts Cameron Ashley’s footprint in New England and enhances its ability to service customers located in the Gold Coast of Connecticut and New York.
The company noted that the new DC will immediately implement Cameron Ashley’s F^ST delivery options that same-day and next-day service, and serves as an attractive pickup point for will call orders.
It follows the opening of three Cameron Ashley DCs between this past November and January in Chicago; Greenville, SC; and Manchester, NH. More recently, the company announced the acquisition of Appalachian Insulation (Elizabethtown, PA) on March 18.
