Cardinal Health of Dublin, Ohio, on Aug. 11 reported fiscal-year 2022 revenues of $181.4 billion, a 12% increase year-over-year.

The company also reported fiscal 2022 fourth-quarter revenue of $47.1 billion, an 11% annual increase over the same quarter a year ago.

“In fiscal year 2022, Medical segment performance was significantly impacted by inflation and supply chain constraints,” said Mike Kaufmann, CEO of Cardinal Health. “In addition, the Pharmaceutical segment grew 5% and we generated strong cash flow, returning $1.6 billion to our shareholders through share repurchases and dividends.”

For 4Q 2022, Cardinal Health’s Pharmaceutical segment reported revenue of $43.3 billion. Pharmaceutical segment revenue for the year overall was $165.5 billion, the company said.

The company’s Medical segment reported revenue of $3.8 billion in 4Q and $15.9 billion for FY 2022 overall.
