This is C&B’s 8th acquisition since 2023, when Platinum Equity acquired the company.
Commercial door, frame and hardware distributor Cook & Boardman continues its 2024 acquisition streak with the addition of Denver, CO-based Architectural Doors, Inc. (ADI).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1989, ADI supplies customers with traditional commercial doors and hardware materials around the Colorado Front Range.
ADI will continue to operate under its name and customer contacts will remain unchanged.
“We are thrilled to welcome ADI to the Cook & Boardman family,” C&B CEO David Eisner said in an Aug. 20 news release. “Their strong reputation in the industry and talented group of personnel will strengthen our position in the market and drive continued growth. We are looking forward to working with John and the rest of their team to achieve even greater success in the future.”
In 2023, Platinum Equity acquired a majority stake in C&B. This is the company’s 8th acquisition under Platinum Equity’s ownership.
