Core & Main expands into Southeast U.S. with its second announced acquisition in August.
Waterworks and industrial supplies distributor Core & Main has agreed to acquire GroGreen Solution Georgia.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed
Juliette, GA-based erosion control and geotextile products provider GroGreen operates from four locations — two in Georgia; one in Florida; and one in Mississippi.
“The GroGreen team’s extensive industry expertise and broad product offering complement our existing geosynthetics product portfolio exceptionally well,” Core & Main Chair and CEO Steve LeClair said. “GroGreen has a strong presence and outstanding distribution capabilities in the Southeast, which will allow us to accelerate our growth in the region.”
On Aug. 13, Core & Main announced the completion of its previously announced acquisition of Southwest Ontario, Canada-based HM Pipe.
Core & Main — No. 1 on MDM’s Top Distributor’s List for Industrial PVF and No. 9 for Industrial Supplies — announced on Aug. 5 the opening of a new waterworks facility in Hayden, ID.
