The SoM is available in the UK from franchised distributor Inelco Hunter. It also has 2MB on-chip RAM, up to 1Gb (128MB) of SDRAM and up to 512Mb(64MB) of QuadSPI/octal flash memory.
For displays there is a 24-bit Parallel RGB interface and MIPI-DSI and two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, supporting TNS and AVB. There is also support for GPIO, UART, I2C, USB, CAN, I2S/SAI.
The low power SoM employs elliptic curve cryptography, AES-128/256, RNG4, RSA4096, DES/3-DES in combination with on-the-fly QSPI flash decryption (with 2D graphical acceleration). This level of security, says Inelco, makes it suitable for home and industrial control systems, wireless applications, communications and real-time systems in the industrial IoT and automation. The SoM is in a compact SODIMM200 form factor and operates across an industrial grade temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The operating system is FreeRTOS.
