By 2032, Europe will produce 6% of sub-10nm chips and Japan bywill produce 5%.


In 2022, Taiwan  produced 69% of sub-10nm chips and Korea produced 31%. By 2032, Taiwan’s share is expected to fall to 47% and Korea’s to fall to 9%.

By 2032, China is expected to have increased its share of the market for 10nm to 22nm chips from 6% to 19%, and its share of 28nm and higher ICs from 33% to 37%.

Overall, across all nodes, by 2032, China’s share of  semiconductor production is forecast to decline from 24% to 21% while the US share is expected to rise from 10% to 14%.
