Dumotech’s distribution and manufacturing capabilities will help JENNMAR to meet the demand for hardrock mining products in Quebec, Canada.
In a move to build up its presence in Canada, Pittsburg, PA-based infrastructure product provider JENNMAR will acquire the operating assets and some customer relationships of hardrock mining product and hardware distributor and manufacturer Dumotech Industrial Products.
Dumotech complements JENNMAR’s offering of infrastructure products and specialized services to the civil, solar, mining and construction industries, and strengthens its presence in Quebec, Canada, through an expanded product range and local proximity to the region’s mines.
As part of the acquisition, JENNMAR will continue to operate from the existing Dumotech facility in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada, enabling the company to closer to its “expanding customer base in the region.” officials said in a June 24 news release.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dumotech to the JENNMAR family of companies as we continue to build JENNMAR’s presence in Canada,” JENNMAR CEO Tony Calandra said. “Dumotech’s capabilities position JENNMAR to continue to meet the region’s hardrock market demand and better serve new and existing customers with our innovative products and services.”
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This acquisition builds on JENNMAR’s growing portfolio, including its recently announced acquisitions of Australian Steel & Wire and G&R Gas Services.
