Affiliated Distributors held its annual AD Industrial & Safety North American Meeting from Sept. 12-15 in Aurora, Colorado, where the independent industrial and construction supplies buying group announced the winners for its industrial and safety members of the year awards.
Martin Supply (Florence, Alabama) and Surface Prep (Byron Center, Michigan) were named Industrial Members of the Year, while Apex Tool Group (Sparks, Maryland) and Walter Surface Technologies (Pointe-Claire, Quebec) earned AD’s Suppliers of the Year awards.
Martin Supply and Apex were chosen from AD’s larger Tier 2 industrial and safety members, while Surface Prep and Walter Surface Technologies were picked from smaller firms in Tier 2.
Würth Group subsidiary Northern Safety and Industrial was named AD’s Tier 2 Member of the Year, and Alabama Safety Products received the group’s Tier 1 Member of the Year award. Ergodyne and Acme United Corp. were recognized as Safety Network Suppliers of the Year for Tier 2 and Tier 1, respectively.
