MCE Acquires Distributors in Florida, Michigan

On June 5, Zelienople, Pennsylvania-based industrial distributor Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE) announced it completed two acquisitions: Power & Pumps Inc. (P&P) and Industrial Control Services Inc. Financial details were not disclosed for either transaction.

Founded in 1938, Power & Pumps is a distributor of pumps, blowers, vacuum and power transmission products. P&P is also a master distributor in North America for All Prime Pumps, a line of self-priming pumps. P&P is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and serves municipal and industrial customers in Florida and Georgia.

Zeeland, Michigan-based Industrial Control was founded in the 1970s and is a distributor of specialty automation products. The company specializes in robotics, motion control, machine vision, barcoding systems, controls and networking, and safety solutions.

“We are very excited to welcome the talented associates of Power & Pumps and Industrial Control Services to the MCE family,” MCE Chairman and CEO Charles Hale said in a news release. “These businesses will expand our geographic reach, deepen our offering of automation solutions, and expand our presence in the fluid processing market.”

P&P and Industrial Control are the second and third acquisitions of 2023 for MCE, which acquired Precision Pump & Valve in February. MCE has now made 10 acquisitions since January 2021.
