MDM Welcomes Vesna Brajkovic as Senior Editor

We at Modern Distribution Management are always striving to deliver the best and most valuable editorial content we can for our readers, and that effort just got a boost.

I’m happy to announce that Vesna Brajkovic, an experienced B2B trade publication editor in the transportation industry, has joined our team as MDM’s new Senior Editor, effective May 8.

A fellow Wisconsinite, Milwaukee-based Brajkovic has more than seven years of experience as a B2B publication editor, having focused on the commercial trucking, railroad, transit, fleet maintenance, automotive aftermarket and aviation industries.

“For years I’ve been embedded in various transportation-related industries, covering management best practices and supply chain trends impacting the end-user. Now at MDM, I’m flipping the switch to dive deeper into the other side,” Vesna said. “The MDM team and I are confident my background and perspective will serve us well in providing even more premium content and enterprise reporting.”

Brajkovic’s knowledge base in the freight logistics sector and those other fields will allow her to hit the ground running in our content that is hallmarked by market analysis and insights for the wholesale distribution sector and providing executives with the insights needed to run their business more effectively.

Brajkovic most recently spent the past two-plus years as Managing Editor of Heavy Duty Trucking for Bobit Business Media — where she reported and edited news and features on the commercial trucking industry, managed eNewsletters and social media, coordinated print magazine production and developed content for events and multimedia such as podcasts and videos.

Prior to that, Vesna served in editorial roles at Progressive Railroading for Trade Press Media Group and at Endeavor Business Media’s Fleet Maintenance, PTEN, Professional Distributor and AviationPros.com brands.

Vesna started her journalism career freelancing as a feature writer for Milwaukee community newspapers, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
