ATC 3561-NA4C is rated at 67Top/s for AI inference – that is INT8 sparse Top/s on the 8Gbyte version in ‘super mode’.
“The palm-sized MIL-STD-810H unit resists shock and vibration, and supports an operating temperature range as wide as -25°C to +65°C,” said Nexcom. “An optional fanless configuration helps reduce maintenance issues.” – Fanless performance remains 67Top/s over -25 to +60°C.
Four gigabit power-over-Ethernet ports are provided for cameras and lidar sensors, and for local data transfer there are CAN, RS-232, digital I/O and OTG interfaces.
Option include GNSS (sat nav), 5G NR and Wi-Fi 5/6 modules.
Internal SSD storage is handeld though an M.2 port.
Human interface is handled though HDMI and four USB sockets.
Integrated software includes Nexcom’s ‘acceleration Linux’ and Nvidia’s JetPack 6.2.
Operation is from 9 to 36Vdc, down to 6Vdc for 20s, and over-voltage protection activates at 37V.
Ignition control is provided with programmable on and off times, and remote on-off is also possible.
Applications are foreseen autonomous vehicles for planting, weeding and harvesting. Away from agriculture, use is expected in automatic number plate recognition, mobile autonomous robots and railway safety assurance.
