Tennessee-based PPE manufacturer Radians announced Sept. 1 the expansion of its Memphis campus with the lease of a new warehouse building at 5335 Mineral Wells Road.

The addition increases the square footage of Radians’ Memphis campus by nearly 20%, according to Radians CEO Mike Tutor, bringing the campus — which serves as Radians’ headquarters — to approximately eight acres.

The expansion will allow Radians to have more in-house inventory, Tutor added. Radians has invested in additional forklifts, racking, wireless routers and other necessary equipment in preparation for the move.

“Our employees are ecstatic about having a larger and more efficient workspace at Mineral Wells,” Radians president Bill England said. “Thanks to our employees, sales team, large distributor networks and product innovations, we have experienced explosive growth in multiple product lines. It was time for more space and resources to support this growth.”

Radians will use the Mineral Wells facility to process orders for big-box retailers and large industrial customers, according to a press release.

“Because these national retailers and accounts have products specific to them, having all their products under one roof will increase operational efficiencies and productivity,” Tutor said.

Radians manufactures PPE products including safety eyewear, rainwear, hearing protection, head gear, face masks and high-visibility apparel. The company also has facilities in Reno, Nevada; Thomasville, North Carolina; Bellingham, Washington; Mexico and the United Kingdom.
