They come in a five-sided conduction cooled aluminium housing that measures 38.1 x 49.5 (39.4) x 13mm including (ignoring) mounting tabs.
None are isolated and all have a single regulated output, remote on-off, remote sense and output trim – through a standard 1/16th brick through-hole pin-out.
There are basically three versions:
- 18-60Vin, 3.3-24Vout, 33A 500W
- 18-32Vin, 3.3-18Vout, 45A, 750W
- 9-18Vin, 0.8-8Vout, 60A, 400W
Each comes with or without an optional adjustable output current limit, making six models in total.
Peak efficiency among the models is 98.5%, and they operate with case temperatures of -40 to +115°C.
The converters are encapsulated to provide shock and vibration performance to MIL-STD-810G.
“The wide output adjustment range allows one model to be used in multiple DC output voltage positions,” according to the company. “The series is designed to be used in harsh environment applications including medical, automated guided vehicles, industrial mobile robots, drones, industrial, test and measurement.”
All models carry CE and UKCA marks for the Low Voltage and RoHS Directives, and are designed to IEC/UL/CSA/EN 62368-1 safety standards, said TDK.
