Alphawave Semi CAO Sameer Ladiwala

“Ladiwala brings more than 25 years of financial management experience, including more than a decade within public semiconductor IP and chip companies,” according to Alphawave.

Previously, he held the CAO role at Luminar Technologies, Arm and Cypress Semiconductor, and was assistant corporate controller at Intersil. He also worked with semiconductor and technology companies during 12 years at PwC.

“At these companies, he collaborated on the due diligence, negotiation and integration of merger and acquisition transactions that ranged between $5m and $10bn, and participated in debt funding operations totalling over $2bn,” said Alphawave. “Additionally, Ladiwala has significant experience with accounting for complex transactions, including multiple-element long-term subscription and IP licensing revenue agreements worth a combined value of over $1bn.”

He will be based at the company’s San Jose headquarters.

Alphawave Semi was founded in 2017 and creates intellectual property, custom silicon and end-products for data centres, computation, networking, AI, 5G, autonomous vehicles and storage.
