The National Association of Electrical Distributors awarded Schaedler Yesco Distribution’s Marc Malvizzi a Lifetime Achievement Award.
On May 24, the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) awarded Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based electrical distributor Schaedler Yesco Distribution‘s Marc Malvizzi a Lifetime Achievement Award during its National Meeting in Florida.
A member of the electrical industry since 1985, Malvizzi served on the Eastern Region Council and later as the Eastern Region Vice President. In addition, he served on various committees and project development teams, including Disaster Recovery, Selling Services, and other programs to help member distributors grow and prosper.
“I’m humbled. I’m surprised and humbled,” he said. “With NAED, you always get more out of it than what you put in. I believe in the vision and just wanted to do my part to help.”
One of the most important projects he helped with was building accurate and consistent data for distributor ERP and eCommerce systems, according to a news release.
“Getting everyone on the same page with data was a huge undertaking. Everyone started building websites and eCommerce, and it was critical that we all have data in the same format and the same quality,” he said. “NAED has worked with IDEA and other data sources to ensure product information is consistent so we can all have accurate and consistent data to share with our customers.”
