Sonepar appoints Dave Jay to spearhead its strategy as VP of Industrial Solutions and Business Development.
Sonepar has announced the appointment Dave Jay to the newly-created role of Vice President of Industrial Solutions and Business Development at Sonepar USA. He will be responsible for developing and leading the company’s industrial strategy and supporting the growth of this segment.
Dave Jay brings over 20 years of experience in industrial solutions, primarily from his career at Rockwell Automation. Most recently, he served as the North America Sales Director of Consumer Goods.
“With his extensive knowledge and expertise in industrial automation, Dave has the skills and leadership to guide the expansion of our industrial solutions business,” said Rob Taylor, President of Sonepar Americas, in a July 18 news release. “I’m confident that he will develop the organizational structure and competencies for us to pursue long-term growth in this segment.”
Sonepar — No. 2 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Electrical, Data and Security — operates in 40 countries with 45,000 associates.
