Andrew Hartman leads the association’s 2023-2024 officers as STAFDA’s new president.
The Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) hosted its 2023 Annual Convention Nov. 5-7 in San Antonio, where some 2,700 attendees gathered to network, take in educational sessions and show off their latest and greatest products and services on the expo floor of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
The association noted that its two-day trade show included 438 booth exhibitors, including two 50×50-foot islands four 20×20-foot islands.
Following the event’s general session on Nov. 6, the association elected its officers for the 2023-2024 year. Here is those new appointments as detailed by STAFDA:
Andrew Hartman, President and Owner of Hartman Independent Company, Canonsburg, PA, became STAFDA President. Hartman provides fastening and packaging solutions to the construction and industrial markets in Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Hartman Independent Company has been a STAFDA member since 1981.
Phil Cerminaro, President and Majority Owner of Industrial Products Limited, New Orleans, LA, was elected STAFDA Vice President. The company centers its product offerings around access and safety equipment but also offers a full line of material handling products and custom fabricated solutions. Industrial Products Limited has been a STAFDA member since 2005.
The following members were elected to three-year terms on STAFDA’s Board of Directors:
- Robert Facca, Facca Fasteners Limited, London, ON, Canada
- Matt Kitchens, California Service Tool, Inc., Hayward, CA
- Will Rue, Fastening Solutions, Inc., Montgomery, AL
New members of STAFDA’s Manufacturer Liaison Committee include:
- Bruce Imig, Max USA Corp., Plainview, NY
- Ryan Kaelin, Simpson Strong-Tie, Pleasanton, CA
- Patrick Murray, ORS Nasco, Inc., Tulsa, OK, and Mike Sullivan, CS Unitec, Inc., Wilton, CT
New members of STAFDA’s Rep Liason Committee include:
- Katie Cornelius, Donwin Marketing, Lakefield, ON, Canada
- Brandon Martin, Regency Sales Co., Duncanville, TX
- Heather McNulty, Rouser Group, St. Louis Park, MN

STAFDA’s 2024 Convention (48th Annual) will be held Nov. 10-12, 2024 in downtown Nashville. Registration opens June 24 for STAFDA members.
