This deal marks the seventh acquisition for the company in the past seven years, according to a news release.
Building materials distributor The Building Center, Inc. announced it has acquired Contractors Building Supply, Inc. and its locations in Monroe and Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Building Center said the deal provides it with additional reach to service central and coastal North Carolina. This deal marks the seventh acquisition for the company in the past seven years, according to a news release.
“We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to continue to make inroads and build relationships with builders and remodelers in and around Monroe and Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina,” said Skip Norris, President of The Building Center, Inc. “CBS has been in business since 1987. Owner and CEO Eddie Roberts has built a talented team over the years and has a wonderful reputation for service.”
In August, The Building Center also announced it had acquired Mountain Lumber Company, Inc., located near Boone, North Carolina.
