Distributors TIPCO Technologies and HydraTech Industrial Solutions announced the merger of their businesses on Nov. 30 in what they said creates one of the largest independent distributors of fluid conveyance and sealing solutions in the United States.

The combined company will operate under the TIPCO Technologies name and continue to be led by Rob Lyons as CEO of Commercial Business; Brad Marshall as CEO of Operational Business, and Terri Lyons as Vice President of TIPCO Technologies Mid-Atlantic.

Founded in 1888 and based in Owings Mills, Maryland, TIPCO is a comprehensive fluid solution products supplier and touts its role as the largest stocking distributor in the Mid-Atlantic region. It operates through a network of 12 branches and three production facilities across thre states.

Houston-based HydraTech is a distributor of fluid conveyance products, serving U.S. markets that include Eugene; Las Vegas, Boise, Idaho; PHoenix, Denver, Houston, Atlanta and Charlotte. The company operates 15 branches across eight states that support counter, OEM and MRO customers.

Rob, Terri and the TIPCO team have built an industry-leading operation, and we look forward to our team’s continued growth and transformation.”

The new-look TIPCO Technologies now comprises 30 locations across 13 states.
