Logic was up 37% and memory up 20% supported by demand for data centre infrastructure and the emergence of initial AI Edge applications.
Sensors were up 16%, analogue and micro each up 4%, discretes down 4% and opto down 0.56%.
Outlook: changes in forecast – spring estimates nearly confirmed
The full-year 2025 forecast has been revised upward to €728 billion, reflecting an annual growth of 15.4%, an increase of 4 percentage points.
The outlook for 2026 is for growth of 9.9% to €800 billion for the year.
For 2025, all product segments show upward revisions.
Logic and memory, are now expected to grow by 29% and 17% (both up 5 percentage points), respectively.
All major markets are expected to expand, with the Americas and Asia Pacific continuing to lead the growth, while Europe is expected to strengthen and Japan to decline slightly.
