Anderson Power will host a free webinar series titled “Demystifying Battery Power” for those who work in the outdoor power equipment industry. The series, which will take place in June, will cover topics such as industry trends, market demands, regulations and safety related to battery-powered equipment.

The webinar series will help engineers, project managers and procurement specialists at equipment manufacturers understand how to successfully transition to battery power and capitalize on the growing demand for electrified products. The series features experts from organizations such as the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI), the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Anderson Power itself.
The webinar series will be moderated by Glenn Hansen, editor at Outdoor Power Equipment Business (OPE+), a leading publication for the outdoor power equipment industry. Hansen has more than 20 years of experience covering the latest developments and trends in the industry.
The first webinar, titled “Voices of Manufacturers,” will take place on June 3, 2024, at 10 AM CST. It will feature Chuck Bowen, VP of communications and member relations at OPEI, who will share end-user trends and market data. Cheryl Mailloux of Anderson Power will offer insights and learnings for manufacturers making the transition to battery power.
The second webinar, titled “Understanding Regulations and Safety,” will take place on June 13, 2024, at 12 PM CST. It will feature Christopher Dilbeck, air resources supervisor at CARB and Matthew Diener, air pollution specialist from CARB, who will discuss the environmental and regulatory aspects of battery power. From Anderson Power, Cheryl Mailloux will offer advice for manufacturers to successfully utilize regulations.
