Fresh off of announcing its plans to start delivering products locally via aerial drone, Winsupply announced its latest acquisition on Aug. 2.

The distributor of construction and industrial supplies, HVAC, plumbing, PVF and more has purchased First Source Electrical in Houston, Texas. The company is a full-line distributor of commercial, multi-family, residential and low-voltage electrical supplies, operating out of a 110,000-square-foot facility.

“We are excited to welcome First Source Electrical to our already growing electrical portfolio within the Winsupply Family of Companies,” said Greg Holbrock, Winsupply’s Vice President of Due Diligence and Financial Integration. “We share a common culture that prioritizes our contractors, vendor partnerships and employees. This partnership helps us continue to align with our vendor partners and add additional value to our current local companies.”

The First Source location will continue doing business as First Source Electrical.

First Source marks the third acquisition Winsupply has announced in 2022. On July 1, it announced the addition of Irving, Texas-based PVF and steel fabrications distributor Romar Supply; and on April 5 it announced the acquisition of Williams Wholesale Supply, a plumbing and electrical distributor with three locations in Tennesse.
